Why haven’t the results updated yet?
Tournament results on Fencing Time Live are displayed as they are entered and published by tournament staff.
Updates may take time depending on:
When referees submit bout scores
When the bout committee processes and posts results
Internet connectivity at the venue
If results are not visible yet, they may not have been finalized or published.
Why does the data look incorrect?
Fencing Time Live displays official competition data provided by tournament staff.
If something appears incorrect, it may be:
An error made by the computer operator when typing in a score
A result that is still being reviewed
A posting delay during a busy round
For immediate concerns during the event, please speak directly with the bout committee or DT. They are the only authority that can review or correct official results.
Who controls official tournament results?
Official results are controlled and published by the tournament’s bout committee or DT.
Fencing Time Live does not independently alter or edit competition results.
Can the Fencing Time Live staff correct my result?
No. Fencing Time Live displays results exactly as they are provided by tournament organizer. Fencing Time Live does not have any involvement with the entering of nor accuracy of the scores entered.
If you believe a correction is needed:
During the event: contact the bout committee or DT immediately.
-
After the event: contact the tournament organizer directly.
Why does my pool ranking look wrong?
Pool rankings are calculated based on official bout results entered by tournament staff.
If you believe there is a scoring error or ranking issue, please bring it to the attention of the bout committee or DT during the event so it can be reviewed and corrected if necessary.
Why does my seeding seem different than expected?
Seeding into elimination rounds is based on official pool results and tournament format rules.
Any questions about seeding calculations should be directed to the bout committee or DT, as they manage official event operations.
Why does the tableau look incomplete?
The elimination bracket updates as results are entered and published by tournament staff.
If a bout has concluded but does not yet appear in the tableau, it may not have been entered or published.
For real-time concerns, please check with the bout committee or DT.
What should I do if something looks wrong during the event?
If you notice a possible error, speak directly with the bout committee or DT as soon as possible. They are the official authority responsible for reviewing and correcting competition data.
What should I do if I notice an issue after the event?
After the event concludes, any questions about official results should be directed to the tournament organizer. Most errors cannot be fixed once an event has concluded and the results are finalized, so it is important to report any errors to the bout committee or DT during the event.
Fencing Time Live reflects the official data provided by the event.
